Dogs Entering or Returning to the U.S.
The CDC is now the primary authority for dogs entering or returning to the United States. Depending on your dog's travel history, a CDC-required rabies vaccination certification may need to be completed by a USDA-accredited veterinarian before your dog leaves the country. Domestic
States vary in their requirements for transporting small animals across their borders. Airlines may have separate and additional travel restrictions, so you will need to check with them directly. Please allow a minimum of 15 days for research and preparation of domestic health certificates.
International
International travel planning is more complicated, with some countries requiring lengthy pre-importation documentation.
