Emergency Veterinary Care

5-Points Animal Hospital is not a 24/7 emergency hospital. During our posted business hours, we are here for all of our clients and will do our best to see your pet for urgent needs. Outside of those hours we are closed and unable to provide emergency care, so please use one of the after-hours options below.

During Regular Business Hours

If your pet needs immediate care during regular business hours, please call us at (919) 817-1718 so that we may prepare for your pet's arrival.

When We Are Closed

If your pet has an emergency when we are closed, please contact one of the emergency hospitals or urgent care facilities in our area.

Please note that the emergency veterinary field throughout our country, and in our area, is struggling with staffing right now due to a shortage of ER doctors and support staff. Unfortunately, this means you should expect long wait times and potentially at-capacity hospitals that may direct you elsewhere. We therefore recommend calling ahead to ensure your pet can be seen. We are working with other local veterinary hospitals on solutions to this urgent need and will continue to update our resources here.
